Proteso is a deep-tech startup specializing in exoskeletons for industrial workers. Its mission is to design and produce wearable technologies that help workers move safely and stay healthy across different industries. Proteso was born at the Italian Institute of Technology, where her team has spent the last eight years building a solid research and development experience, delving into exoskeleton technology and studying its physiological effects. She has designed several generations of exoskeletons for different applications and is now ready to transform them into successful products.

Its first product is designed specifically for manual material handling work, protecting workers' lower backs from excessive strain and associated injuries.
