The company has designed an innovative reconfigurable machine tool consisting of standardized elements joined together like a LEGO.

The architecture, based on a patented screw-rack mechanism (WO2017137938), allows the main axis of the machine to be extended by coupling multiple frames to change the working volume.

The frames accept tables that can operate simultaneously by integrating different technologies (FDM printing, milling, laser scanning, etc.).

ProFacere will produce a Lego-like reconfigurable machine tool for the FabLabs and Makers market.
