Hiro Robotics develops robotic systems for the disassembly of electronic waste (WEEE), leveraging robotics, artificial intelligence, and computer vision to recover valuable materials more efficiently and sustainably. The company makes recycling devices such as televisions, monitors, and printed circuit boards safer and more profitable by adapting industrial technologies to the "defabrication" sector.
The company was founded in Genoa in 2018 by Davide Labolani, Jacopo Lottero, Tomaso Manca, and Michele Olivieri: a team with solid experience in robotics, artificial intelligence, and computer vision, with expertise developed in academia and industry.
