Diasol

Diasol S.r.l. offers innovative solutions for predictive diagnostics of electrical insulation systems of electrical equipment (motors, generators, distribution boards, cables, insulators, etc.) by partial discharge (SP) monitoring. Diasol S.r.l. manufactures measuring instruments for off-line and on-line detection of conducted signals, related to SPs, in low and high frequency; these instruments also enable continuous remote monitoring of these signals. For the detection of radiated signals related to SPs, Diasol offers Solbox, which monitors, continuously, the presence of SPs in electrical machines also powered by electronic converters. Solbox represents the first truly applicable instrument in a market segment where failures due to premature insulation failure are particularly frequent. The sensor integrated in Solbox is the subject of a patent.

SolboxPlus, designed for installations that are difficult to access, such as, for example, wind generators both onshore and offshore, provides the possibility of transmitting signals related to SPs to a remote location: in this way, the signaling of potentially dangerous partial discharge levels takes place in the control room and, in addition, through the use of transmission protocols and/or the use of web applications, it is possible to make the data available to a Diasol operator who, remotely, can perform on-line assistance.
